Skiing ⛷️

About this weekend
SkiingSkiing began in Norway and the rest of Scandinavia as a way to get around on snow. The first Winter Olympics were held at Chamonix in 1924, and Korea hosted them at PyeongChang in 2018. Between lift passes, gear rental and travel time, a ski weekend takes a lot of setting up — which is why so many people ride from the first lift to the last.
If you picked this
Adventure is high and nature is high too. You don't avoid winter — you wait for it. Speed and slope are where the fun is.
Aesthetic is on the low side. The snowscape is lovely, but you're not there to look at it. One more run is what matters. First lift to last, and the day ends when your legs give out.
You go well with someone at your level. If one of you is stuck on the beginner slope while the other is waiting at the top of a black run, both of you waste the day. In a bracket skiing moves with the season: strong in winter, pushed aside in summer.
The nearest square is surfing, then hiking — all three take on nature with the body. The furthest is the book café. One comes down the slope; the other sits by the window turning pages.
