Ten of Cups
컵 10

Feeling and what runs between people.

Upright

fullness · harmony · arrival

Reversed

cracked calm · for show · unmet hope

A man and a woman hold each other with one arm and raise the other to the sky. A rainbow arcs overhead with ten cups along it. Beside them two children dance hand in hand, and in the distance a house sits among trees by a stream.

The Ten of Cups is fullness between people. If the Nine is your own share, the Ten is everyone around you having enough as well. A holiday dinner with family that passes easily with no drama, a relationship finally taking the shape you hoped for, the first time you have friends over for a meal in a new place.

Reversed, the harmony is cracked. From outside it looks like a family photo, but underneath, expectations do not match. Another version is forcing yourself to fit a picture of what a happy family is supposed to look like. The longer everyone pretends it is fine, the wider the crack tends to get. One honest conversation with one person is a place to start.

Worth asking: is the happy picture you have in mind something you want, or something you want to be seen having?

Reading it only as 'marriage' or 'starting a family' is narrow. The family on this card is not limited to blood. Friends you have lived with for years, a team that works, the regulars at a local place — they count. What matters is that everyone is at ease when you are together.

With the Four of Wands, the bond takes shape in an actual home or occasion — a wedding, a housewarming, a family party. Overlapping with the Tower, read the harmony as standing on a problem that has been covered over for a long time.
