The potter
You keep it in and let people think they know you
Behind, hands-on, by the heart, living with the flow.
Hard truths
you won't like these- 01You hate fights so you quietly step back
- 02It's set down only when it's fair to your own eye
How you got here
ISFPAbout you
You'd have shaped beautiful things without a word. Working clay, choosing a glaze, setting it down only when your own eye found it fair, not because you were told. You spoke through the piece rather than boast up front, so fine work went long unknown while you didn't mind.
The heart came before the reasoning. You followed the day's feel in your fingers rather than fit the rule exactly, and so no two bowls were the same. Alert to people's grain, you couldn't watch them wounded, and you withdrew quietly rather than fight.
You chafed at a pinned seat and gave yourself to the day's flow. You made as the heart led rather than push a plan, and so those near you found you hard to fully know. If you still make what's fair to your own eye whether or not it's seen, it's an old streak.
