About you

You joke around constantly and still read people better than anyone in the room. In the middle of all the noise you already know who's off today, and you'll ask them quietly later — and the timing is accurate enough to startle the person receiving it.

Lifting people is a genuine talent. You name the thing someone is good at and push the reluctant one until they've actually done it, while thinking you only said what was obvious. The number of people who started something near you is the evidence.

The cost is carrying other people's feelings whole. A hard conversation stays with you for days, and your own work stops moving. Listening and shouldering are different jobs, and this type crosses that line often.

And when you're the one struggling, nobody hears about it. Being the listener makes the other chair feel strange, and not wanting to worry anyone weighs more. What this type needs isn't someone with advice — just one person who will listen.

You're also not stingy with praise. When something is good you say so on the spot, and because it's specific rather than polite, people carry it for years. Taking it is the harder half — a thank-you gets deflected into another topic within seconds. Letting one land, just as it is, is the practice this type needs.

You also have a knack for putting people together. The sense for who fits whom is good, and once the introduction is made you step back out of it. Watching those pairs hold for years shows that what this type leaves behind isn't only its own relationships.
