About you

The interests rotate, and each one is sincere. Dropping last month's obsession doesn't make it fake — in that moment it genuinely was everything. Being desperate to show someone the thing you just found is part of the same wiring.

You have a knack for putting people at ease. You ask a stranger about their life and actually want the answer, so they end up telling you more than they meant to. Showing that you like someone without running a calculation is the strength here.

The problem is the pile of started things. When the spark-then-fade pattern repeats, you start asking why you can't finish anything and the self-blame grows. That isn't a willpower failure — it's the shape of a person who runs on interest.

So finishing has to be set up differently. Hanging the deadline outside yourself, or attaching someone to work alongside, beats gripping it alone. Once there's a single thing you carried all the way, you stop doubting whether you can.

In a room for throwing ideas, nobody keeps up. You put out the options other people delete for practical reasons, and one of them genuinely changes the shape of the thing. Left unsorted, though, it's just noise. With someone beside you who picks one and holds on, this type is worth several times as much.

With someone you've just met, you go straight to the deep end. Small talk runs out in ten minutes and “what's been hardest lately?” arrives — and oddly, people answer it. You don't collect shallow acquaintances so much as brief, deep ones.
